You've caught the color perfectly! I adore marigold...have tons of them around, and I have found yucky little earwigs munching away on a couple of them...hunger little buggers.

I am sensing that you went to a fair or a festival to take this photo. In that sense I can see how this photo relates to your weekend. I do wish that you had tied this into your title somehow. the blown out highlights still detract from what is an interesting craftsman.

Taking into consideration the phoito itself, I would have probably voted it a 6 with the highlights and lighting the way it is. Because I feel you didn't convey to me the challenge, I am upping my original DNMC=1 to a 5, but will not give you the 6 I would have otherwise voted.
