Lady in Waitingby MaryOComment by icu1965: I agree with your comment about the love and ladylike modesty. That's exactly what I thought when I first saw this. |

Peacock Strutby MaryOComment by JuliBoc: I like what you did with the stroke. With his tail outside the frame like that it doesn't seem as much like something is missing. It's rather like he is just walking into the image through an open door. |

Wood Duck Ecstasyby MaryOComment by JuliBoc: Now that's wild! His eyes are popping right out of his head. Wood ducks are so beautiful and this is a beautiful photo, with all the beautiful colors of the water complementing the duck. |

Mellow Yellowby MaryOComment by Jedusi: Nice capture of a very relaxed duckling - nice detail in the beak and eye.
I'm not so sure about his choice of exotic beach though :- ) Message edited by author 2008-06-13 16:55:44. |

Wood Duck Ecstasyby MaryOComment by Jedusi: "I don't know why I keep finding birds procreating. They're shameful exhibitionists, that must be it!"
Yeah - or you're a stalker :- )
Wonderful colours on this duck, and nice freeze frame of the water drops.
ps I hope the duck underneath has got sub-aqua gear. . .
edit for spelling

Toad on a Floral Throneby MaryOComment by epescala: I love this shot, but (and i know this is a tall order) i wish the frog was "posing" different, maybe so we could see his side. Contrast and detail are great. It feels a tiny little bit crooked, maybe straighten a bit. 9 |
