This is a very centered composition. I can't give it my highest marks for the challenge topic, I'm afraid.

An interesting twist to the challenge...! The coat of fur below the chin seems a bit blown out.

His fur is overexposed on his chest. You could have exposed this less and kept the other darker detail.

How does this fit into the challenge? Aside from that i think a black background and a wider angle would have looked better, 4

Focus is quite soft here. Also, the lighting is really harsh on Charlies chest. The cat's eyes are really not that far off to notice that there is anything wrong with them, and your subject is smack dab in the center of the photo vertically. However, his head is slightly above the horizontal 'center' so this fits the challenge. The background is really distracting. It looks really tilted and the strong diagonals do not go well at all with the vertical cat. I wonder if the harsh lighting was responsible for the bad focus. Sometimes that's what happens.

Good subject. I suggest slowing down the shutter speed to to get motion in the sticks. That would give a stronger sense of motion and sound.

Good drum capture. Slightly strange to see all those people with no heads (you could probably make a horror story out of that if you were so inclined (but that's probably just the sleep dep talking)), but the focus should be on the drums, so it makes sense. Evokes the challenge well. It's maybe a little too busy, but I'm not sure what you could have done to lessen that impression.
