Backlightby Dim7Comment by dwolff: Just wanted to say, I gave this a 10 and didn't comment because I figured you would have gotten pleny and easily finished in the top 10. A sharper focus may have helped but I like the softer focus myself. The picture is very relaxing and I love the glow the light creates under his body. Only thing I may have done differently would have been the crop. I would have tried a portrait crop with the tips of the wings going from edge to edge. But then again, what do I know? This scored higher than my highest entry. Good job, and better luck on your next entry! |

Classic mirrorsby Dim7Comment by Skip: as much as i enjoy a good picture of an old car, as entered, this doesn't really grab me for the challenge. maybe if you had captured an image of something reflected in one of the old mirrors, or even one of the hub caps... |

Classic mirrorsby Dim7Comment by spydr: I like the car, but feel that the mirror should be more of a focal point to better meet the challenge. |

Classic mirrorsby Dim7Comment by mhoogendyk: Yeh, there are mirrors in there - but, they are so small and so inconsequential in terms of a "mirror image" that ya almost can't count them - anymore than the reflection of the sky on the hood. Bet someone had to work with lots of polish and elbow grease to get them that way though. |

Classic mirrorsby Dim7Comment by Gil P: I just don't get this shot...what mirrors? if the mirrors represent 1% of the image....how can they be considered as an important part of the shot? |

Classic mirrorsby Dim7Comment by redmoon: i think this is stretching the fitting of the challenge a little bit. if one of the chrome hub caps (or even one of the side mirrors) became the principal subject in the shot, then i don't think there would be any issue. but it just seems little more than coincidental to have mirrorred surfaces in the frame. composition appears a bit cluttered too, with stuff, people and boxy buildings in the background... it's a lovely looking motor though. 4. |

Backlightby Dim7Comment by Blackdog: I like it very tranquil. Good exsposure, retaining detail and showing the light coming through the wings. |
