White Ice or Redby Dim7Comment by Toddh: the shot looks a little crooked.... everything appears to be leaning to the right.... |

Old Locomotive #6200by Dim7Comment by pesinn: Crysp and beautiful image with the border strengthening the blacks of the train. Would have liked to see some blue skies here though, a white sky always looks strange. Good job - 7 |

Old Locomotive #6200by Dim7Comment by KING: This is a very powerful picture of an old locomotive. The choice in POV is good be could be better: if the viewer couldn't notice the end of the tracks it would have been even better. Furthermore the sky is quite dull at the moment. Maybe if you had taken the picture on a less cloudy day the photo would have had even more impact than it already has. |

Old Locomotive #6200by Dim7Comment by jaam: The overexposed(or dull sky if it was a bad day) has definitely detracted from this picture. It might have been better if you had desaturated this picture of all colour. |

Old Locomotive #6200by Dim7Comment by marbo: Nice sharp image that fits the challenge well. Shame it was so cloudy but nothing you could have done about that. Border a little bit thick but i`m guilty of that to. 8 |

Old Locomotive #6200by Dim7Comment by dsidwell: Nice angles and point of view. LIghting is a bit uninteresting, but you capture the majesty of this train nevertheless. |

Signaling the alarm, warning twins a year apart!by Dim7Comment by frisca: I really like the composition and great job getting most of them to look your way! It is a bit dark though, and I have this same problem with the way I take shots where the subject is dark but there is a lot of surrounding light (as it appears here, like an early morning shot), so at the risk of being impertinent, what did you focus and meter on when you took this shot? |
