This has a nice poignant longing to it, and a bit of sadness. I can definitely feel the dryness of the leaves and the flower. I like the brightish light here, too.

I don't mind the grain, and I like the composition. I just wish you stood out a little more from the background. Ah-HAH! Enlightement lands on me like a ton of bricks. Your title reflects how you blend in. *smacks forehead* Now, is that a broad statement of how you feel in your corner of the world? Like you adjust yourself to your surroundings? I suggest taking this even further - obliterate the boundaries and leave only the slightest difference in shade, with your hair, eyes, nostrils, and lips the only things seriously darker than the wall. Play around and share with Team Suck. :)

This is one of those artistic shots that rarely does well on DPC but is worth exploring again looooong after the challenge. My only wish is for her face to be sharper, or at least her eyes.
