I like this idea, The effect itself was done very well... but there are a couple things that bother me. The flat colour for one, I would really like to see some deep rich blues and greens here. I think it would really add to the feel. Don't want to go crazy with the brightness, but needs to pop a lot more.

The model also needs a bit of colour brighting to her, but what really bothers me with the image, is the visible panty and undershirt lines. Really distracts from what could be a smooth great line. Can be fixed one of a couple ways... Easiest would be to have the model remove the undergarments before the shoot... or during if you notice it while... wear smaller undergarments lastly clone/heal out the lines.

One thing I think that would be fun, may be move the whole image over a bit to the side, and add a moon into it. The moon doesn't need to be monstrous in size, just a little something to see and I think you would have created a really fantastic image. Like I said the effect itself looks really good, just some colour and brightness issues to work on.

Oooohhhh. I liiiiike this one. What a wonderful way to evoke the curves of ocean waves. Makes me think of an island, so your title is right on target! :)

Wonder how it would look in color, even false color, with the sails painted blue?

You have to decide whether you like the lights. I generally do. :) But try toning them down, too, just for comparison and so you can make a conscious choice. One way is just to burn them a bit to reduce the glare.

Fantastic use of a single image. Generally I dont like single images spilt into one, but the use of themain shot in the background is inspired. Great shot, great implementation. 8 but may be bumped!
