Wow- this was you! I wavered between a 6 aqnd 7 and went with 7 ...
I was going to leave a comment during but it was late. I love how the faces are clear and the shadows are dark yet the scene has a great deal of life and emotion.
You can see a young girl in the foireground woman IMO ... she seems to be shy and hiding something or trying to avoid the camera by looking away ;]

I think this is my favorite in the challenge, which is really saying something. As your title suggests, these people all seem like ghosts of each other, but the lady in the foreground has such a commanding presence and an unforgettable expression. 10

Awesome. And in my case, really, really hits home. Back to add a few words. What makes this work, other than the really good choice of subject matter, is the way the younger women almost seem to be aparitions - ghosts of a faded past or perhaps spirits of the future. They're happy, smiling, have a spring in their step. They contrast the older woman's stoic glare, her somewhat bent posture, her reluctant acceptance of life's conditions. Great catch.
