Night Barn Blue.jpgby jackal9Comment by mist: Good blue colour. The barn is a solid subject. I find the white object to the right a bit of a distraction from the simplicity of the shot. But you can't do much with that. |

Forgotten Dreams...by jackal9Comment by colorcarnival: You know, this is a great title for what you are thinking here. I like the black and white used to convey the old style mood. Can you go back and get a full on shot of the car? Capture the mood of the car or even it's unhappy face. Fill the frame with the sad and forgotten car. Nice pic! |

Springby jackal9Comment by jaysonmc: An amazing photo. Good color and texture. Fits the challenge well, personally I would have had this pegged at a 7. |

Dude...Time to upgrade??by jackal9Comment by colorcarnival: I wanted to comment on this during the challenge but I ran out of time. When I first saw this, because of your title and the way the guy looks, my initial reaction was "This is soooooooo the 70's" lol. I did eventually notice the camera he is holding but was actually drawn in by everything else. So it would not surprise me if other fairly unobservant people like me did not see the antique camera. Oh and I DO like the sepia - I think it fits perfectly with the mood of the pic. |

Iceby jackal9Comment by Melethia: I like them both, too! I like the subtle soft bluish tones of this one since "ice" implies "blue" a lot. My kinda shot, this - doors, walls and stuff. Well seen and captured! |

Iceby jackal9Comment by krnodil: I'm usually partial to B&W, but I think the color version of this image is the most effective version. I think the scattered areas of red on the brick wall work to keep the whole image lively and interesting. |
