PAW - I'm going back and forth between these two. I think I like this better. I like the contrast between the barn's warm red and the cold colors of the rest of the shot. The blue in the sky does look a bit unnatural, but enhances the shot well. The B&W makes it look more stark and thus cold and raw. The tree line stands out on the color one more with the bare trunks against the green leaves or darker trunks if they aren't evergreens. I very much like the slope of the hill.

Although I like the colored one, this is my favorite. Not bothered with a nice, but far too busy blue sky, I can simply enjoy the nice view of this barn in the snowy environment. And, reading the comments in both versions, I'm wondering what your final choice will be.
