Those were the days. Fascinating to think of the convenience that we now have, which makes this outdated, but it looks like a seriously good tool to use.

The blue tones work well for this. Really an excellent composition - I like the bench and table, the low line of scattered clouds, the windblown area of snow in the foreground. Nice use of rule of thirds for the horizon (I'm not always a fan, but it does work very well here), and in my opinion, it has just the right amount of contrast. Any more and you lose some of the detail on the tree trunk, for instance. Lovely work!

Very nice detail on the face, and I like it in B&W. I also like the brightish background, though some may find it "distracting" - with it right at the eyeline of the horse, it draws you to his eyes quite nicely, I think.
