Winding Through the Treesby sfarrell23Comment by joshuadbooth: A nice idea... could there have been a better way to shoot this though? Perhaps a different angle or perhaps using some sort of framing device in order to create a more dynamic composition? It seems very two dimensional to me. Try thinking of ways to draw the view into the picture, rather than having them just look at it. |

A Rose...by sfarrell23Comment by ShutterPug: Beautiful flower, and loks so soft. The only thing that I wojuld suggest is changing the lighting as the shadow cast under the rose is a bit strong. |

A Rose...by sfarrell23Comment by Zoomdak: The lighting is good, and the flower is beautiful, but it doesn't speak to me that much. |

A Rose...by sfarrell23Comment by Bankson: The edges of the rose have a white line that looks oddly pixulated to me. Especially on the top right of the rose. Makes it seem like it isn't a real flower. Did it look like that in the native resolution? Did you use unsharpen or something in photoshop that might have created that? Just wondering. Still a good effort. |

A Rose...by sfarrell23Comment by Konador: Really nice detail on the rose. I think I would have increased the contrast just slightly, because in the shot the whites aren't quite white and the blacks arent quite black. |

Just a Slice...by sfarrell23Comment by adine: The light coming through the center is so bright in relation to the orange it draws your eye away - and the imperfect shape of the hole detracts from the symetry and doesn't add to the composition. Focus is not sharp. |
