"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment by hotpasta: Choice of lens here isn't really flattering...distorts the face. A standard 50mm or even a 70-100mm range would have been great for this |

Walnutsby sfarrell23Comment by SandyP: Wow! This is VERY creative and well done. Those walnuts seriously look 3-dimensional! Fantastic job. |

"Golden"by sfarrell23Comment by UNTITLED: A very unique composition, and feels very well balanced. The texture and pattern also make this very interesting. Great abstract! |

"Yellow Rose"by sfarrell23Comment by mk: A good idea but it looks like it might have been better had it been facing the incoming light. As it is, the details of the rose are fairly shadowy. I also think a white or other solid color background would help strengthen the shot. |

"Yellow Rose"by sfarrell23Comment by Nigel: It looks like this picture was lit by daylight from a window from behind the rose, which has placed the rose in the shadow. Not very easy to do when photographing close to a window, but the lighting would have been better if the picture was taken from the other side, with the window behind you. Try moving further into the room. In my opinion a sheet of coloured card would have made a better background. |
