"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment by mpeters: Lighting is nice. Red could be toned down just a bit and camera angle or lens selection seems to make his chin/hand out of proportion in relation to his head. POssibly intentional but i think it gives the portrait a strange feel. |

"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment by hideout: The angle and tight crop of this image really affects my perception of the shape of the model's head, kind of unflattering. Maybe if there was more negative space on the left side, as though he were just turning toward the camera, it would represent his casual expression better. |

"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment by lfordhere: The hue in the face is too pink for me. A more natural tone would have helped me to vote 7 or 8. It looks like the picture was taken with a fisheye lens... If not, then there is some other kind of spacial distortion from something. |

"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment by karmat: His face looks a bit too red to me, and it seems to be a bit distorted. Maybe back away from the subject and use a higher camera angle? |

"Terry"by sfarrell23Comment by LalliSig: Well, wide lenses aren´t really used for portraiture and this is a fine example as to why, because of the wide lens and the fact that his hand is closer to you than his head his hand looks as big as his head! Other than that pretty good but if I may make a suggestion would be to light up the face and in particular eyes a little more with something, a reflector should do the job. |
