I like the contrast, point of view, and subjetc. Lighting is a little hard (for me) and I think I would have liked to see the m&m's spread out around the setup...

This is an image I can see hanging in the reception area of a fancy office. Very simple but bold. Relaxing. The black background works extremely well with the yelllows. Focus and exposure near perfect. Compositionally, I am a little disappointed on the petals behind the 4 main subjects - the ones between the top right and left flowers and the ones behind the bottom right flower. But that's very minor point. The thin yellow border? Probably OK, but I'd like to see it without just to be sure. Overall a very strong entry that should finish high.

I like the contrast of the brightly colored locomotive against the earthy background and the bright blue sky. I like that you can tell the difference between the color schemes of the two locomotives. The color definition in this shot is wonderful, but it appears a bit over-sharpened in the background.
