The crops appear extremely contrasty. There seems to be very little in the way of middle values. For this shot to work for me I would have had to seen the diagonals of the crop rows repeated throughout the frame.

this was a very tough exposure. technically impossible, I expect. But a very good try, and a great photo. just don't know if the exposure and saturation levels are enough for a top spot.

Focus is good, and the border contributes to the shot. This photo would do well in a frame on someone's desk, but it does not really capture my attention. A great picture, but not enough to win this challenge, I'm guessing.
