Great photo of the rose petals. Not so great background. In this case I would suggest PS to tune up the background or a different crop to de-emphasize it.

Fantastic image! This is a work of art. Did you spray blue water on there? Or is it all photoshopping? It looks too real, so I will assume it's not a photoshop job. This is really nice, the only suggestions I can make are maybe get a bit closer to the flower, I'd really like to see those pretty drops up closer, the sky is also a little noisy, and maybe adjust it so the whites are a little whiter. But a great picture. 8

I like the way you framed the cup, and also how the frame matches the colors in the photo, it is a nice touch. However, the silk rose is a bit out of place, also the lighting is a bit harsh.
