1869 Victorian Dollby elizadebComment by glad2badad: This is a unique piece to photograph. The detail in the lace is very good and I like the overall positioning of the doll. From the lighting it seems like you were using natural window light? A little bit of glare on the reflective surfaces...consider using a circular polarizer; it would allow you to knock down those reflections considerably. |

1869 Victorian Dollby elizadebComment by tanguera: A tough subject. The shiny surface is challenging enough, but the background with the tufted surface and the lace pillow are very distracting from the lovely doll. |

1869 Victorian Dollby elizadebComment by Covert_Oddity: This like a lot of other shots in this challenge feels very much like it is just documenting the object rather than making a good photo out of it. I think what has caused that here is the background. Also, what I can only assume is a cushion to the left is just in the way. |

1869 Victorian Dollby elizadebComment by VBester: Nice idea, very sharp which is good, but perhaps moving the doll into the left half of the frame and giving it some room on the right side would be interesting |

Monet's Passionby elizadebComment by tnun: I find this the most original and pleasing of the flower compositions. Looks fantastic at a distance. Wish I knew enough about pp to suggest what might improve it for this size and showing. |

Monet's Passionby elizadebComment by JimiRose: Nice idea but this shot seems to be over sharpened and a bit grainy. I actually really like the effect it has, sort of ethereal, but it's bound to get some harsh votes on this site! J |
