My first thought was eyeball! Lots of interesting colours and details going on.
I like the composition, with the slanting line. the heavy black border helps to constrain my eye within the frame. The rectangular reflection in the center is a little off putting as it looks just like a flash head! Its is not the reflection that is the problem, I think it is a good "catch light", it is just that it looks like a flash head. If it is not a flash head then it is just unfortunate, if it is a flash head then I think using some means of disguising its shape would have helped. The fact that I have just been playing around with a flash could have made me over sensitive to this detail but if anyone else says the same thing, then I guess not.. lol
