this isn't a bad idea, but I think the DOF is too shallow and needs to encompass part of the body of the pear.

Pear too centered and takes up too big part of the whole image.

Wow - you have some great bokeh circles inthe background. Wait - are those grapes? just kidding. I really like the composition and the main focus and clarity of the stem. Great earthy colors and a very nice feel to it overall. While maybe no "proper" circles of light and such the blurred background easily adds to this image. A pleasant shot.

I believe that this shot would have been much better should one has placed some more lighting. In my opinion this is a flat shot... Sorry
