there are three things that aren't good in this photo. the simetry isn't perfect, I think that the composition was good if both the upper corners was filled. the colours are flat and the focus isn't perfect

I agree with the Arcanist that the trampoline didn't exactly stand out in black and white (that's why I choose to name it Trampoline - GRIN!) but due to the positioning of the trampoline in this yard, the other colours, including the colors the child was wearing we SO distracting that the better option was to convert the image. If I'd kept the colors the strength of the image - the girls face would have been dwarfed.
