Let me start by saying by its self your photo would be deserving a ribbonâ€Â¦..BUTâ€Â¦We are comparing to those that have proved exceptional before our attempts. IMHO your lighting, composition, and pose perfect. Yours misses on only one aspect, the hardness of the model, there is a innocence to your young lady, with the original there is none, and that is what made it a blue ribbon winner. You attempted to emulate a tough subject, my vote a 9.
