Symbol of Peaceby SquishyBComment by wheeledd: I'm sorry, I see this as a symbol of war. Betsy Ross made the first flag to fly on a fort to inspire soldiers in battle. My other strong association to the American flag is the memory of the one draped over my father's casket when he was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. |
