Macro of pine coneby wingyisleedsComment by ryand: very nice on hitting the focus, great dof, a little bit bland on the colors, may look better black and white with some added contrast, but still a nice shot |

Jackby wingyisleedsComment by ryand: really like the sepia, as well as the composition, id rather see the focus on the nose or on the eyes, but still a really neat shot |

Seamans Knot.by wingyisleedsComment by rossbilly: The POV adds interest here, and you've captured the colors / texture well!
I do wonder if there isn't a story behind this - always makes the 'story' a little more complete... |

Young Walkerby wingyisleedsComment by wingyisleeds: In reply to Barbara (thanks for the comment), this is my daughter Maddie ;-). And you are right-a very serious face..she wasn't really happy with me that day, as I'd made her walk for 4 hours through Cropton Forest in the North Yorkshire Moors and she was very tired and hot at this point, lol. She was lagging behind us so much I just kept shooting, but this made her more angry, lol. |

Young Walkerby wingyisleedsComment by BAMartin: Such a serious face for a young girl. I really like the composition here, the leading lines from several direction all pointing at her. The light on her face is nice too. Nicely done. |

Walkers hang-up!by wingyisleedsComment by figaro: Unusual shot of a subject you don't see very often! The composition works in that we have the fence splitting the picture into thirds, but having the shoes off-centre doesn't quite draw our attention to them like it should. I think the focus is a wee bit off as well. I took the liberty of making this monochrome via the channel mixer in PS - I think it looks great with 100% green. Give it a try and see what you think. I'd suggest also a bit of USM with specific reference to the fence and the shoes. |

Outake- candid 3by wingyisleedsComment by ryand: This is a nice shot, i like the composition, but the lighting is a little harsh, there are a few things that you can try and do to fix that in post processing: lighten up his body, especially his face, and maybe accent that shadow to make it part of your picture, rather than a distraction from the main subject, nice shot though, and i hope this helps. |

Disney Princess Castleby wingyisleedsComment by BakerBug: I love the lighting you captured here, but I feel it is cropped to closely. It would be nice if the flag were not touching the top of the frame, and if the right side of the castle were cropped about the same as the left. |
