And the rockets' red glare...by CKYidiotComment by boyd2000: This looks like San Diego Bay taken from the middle of Harbor Island (corrected after going there tonight). Nice exposure capturing the fireworks as well as the boats and buildings. The fireworks are a bit washed out, but it's hard to capture this much of a dynamic light range without that happening. |

Slow Joe's 1932 Pontiacby CKYidiotComment by loseme: *Critique Club*
"Slow Joe's 1932 Pontiac" is an interesting entry into the Burst of Color challenge.
At first glance I had to stop and look for a minute because the burst of color really doesn't pop out off the page. The composition is the most interesting thing in this piece. I really like that neither wheel is actually complete. The reflection captured is also nice and gives the piece good flow.
Overall I think you have a never nice and interesting piece, I am just not sure it really displays a burst of color for most voters. I really like this photograph it really made me stop and think. |
