Flower girlby pitsamanComment by hdogg4u: Challenge: 10 This is what you call a portrait with natural setting. Better than a studio
Composition: 10 I love how you used the flowers to contrast her. of centered to the right gives the rule of thirds a 10
Technical: 10 The image is very sharp and I think not going for a soft focus really makes this shot good as you are trying to show the flowers along with her.
Creativity: 10 I like the set up of using the flowers against her natural tonal skin
Overall: 10 Well done
I hope this ribbons. Good Luch oh and she is beautiful. |

Flower girlby pitsamanComment by glad2badad: Wow - She jumps right out at you. Nice shot! The bright yellow gives the image a boost (might be a tad too much reflecting on the girl? Personal opinion I guess). The composition is nice. The way her arm trails off at an angle to the corner ties that part of the image in well. Good job. |

Flower girlby pitsamanComment by dwterry: I have to keep remembering to tell my subjects to "open their eyes" just before the shot. This girl has beautiful eyes. I bet just a tad more whites and her eyes would simply be stunning. I wonder if more of a square crop would have done better on this. Maybe take off the left 1/4th of the image. I do like how the flowers come down at an angle, it gives the image some energy. It just feels like there is a little too much of what you don't want to look at. Nice DOF and sharpness. 9 |

Flower girlby pitsamanComment by mocabela: I wish the flowers nearer the camera were in better focus, and that the subject's apparent attitude were a bit more in tune with the softness of the flowers - but, regardless, this is a well composed photo that is appealing. The flowers do frame her face nicely, and the lighting seems to be good. Nice work. |

New Mexicoby pitsamanComment by Sammie: This almost looks like the Sand Dunes here in the San Luis Valley in Colorado. Very nice picture with great lighting. |
