Great DOF. For most flowers I like to see the focus around the (stamens) middle of the flower. Ususally the most interesting part. Great tone and detailon the petals. I think maybe using the rule of thirds on the larger flowers middle area instead of the smaller one would command it more attention. But that is one opinion

My eyes seem to be drawn more towards the back here. I think I would like to see more DOF, mainly because my eye seems to be drawn away from the colored/focused area(??)

your background is a little bright(distracting). A polorizer might reduce the glare from the leaves and show more detail. Nice composition.
