Seems like a bit of a stretch on the theme. I think I would have liked a less centered crop. Appears to be nice focus and color, but the graininess is distracting.

Even if this was exclusively a "bug office" challenge I couldn't give you more than an average vote (and I have to admit I did not...not even near). Here's why: 1. Colours not exactly vivid as they could be 2. Focus is a little soft on the "bug" 3. Image is grainy (try Neat Image software and/or unsharp masking in PhotoShop or other software) However, composition/cropping is good....then again the cropping may account for the grainy image. Correct? And sorry but no matter which way you slice it, you are off topic. Hope this is constructive and helpful. Really, just trying to help.

The background is very distracting - especially the bump up under the handle - the texture takes away from the coffee here.

Challenge met. Nice close crop really focuses the viewer in on the mug and the coffee. It's pretty straight on, I wonder if there were other angles that would've been a little more interesting ... There are some blown out highlights on the handle and the rim of the mug, but overall not bad. The towel gives the photo on the mug a somewhat greenish feel to it ...
