It's a GREAT photo and I wish I could rate it more highly but while the bird's eye is round, my eye is somehow 'taken' to the birds beak. Great photo tho!

Hope this isn't too close to your house: I've just had pigeons nest on my balcony, and you will not believe the mess that gets made whilst the chicks are growing, not the effort you'll need to get rid of them once they've started flying.

Good shot - though i think its connection to the challenge is just a little forced. No, it's a great shot - but the second part still applies.

The detail here is beautiful. Wonderful use of dof. How close were you to get this? I got to say it is a 10 just cause of the wonderful rainbow effect you captured in the birds neck.
