1998 The Summer of the Swans,James Clarkby pitsamanComment by BobsterLobster: Lovely shot, beautiful colours. I feel this could have done better without the swans being placed in the centre, and without the horizon cutting across the middle here. Symmetry like that is rarely effective. Swans are a little small, did they come closer? 7 |

City in twilightby pitsamanComment by frisca: this isn't what I'd traditionally think of as "fill the frame" but I don't think it fails to meet the challenge. However, I think its really missing a strong point of interest. The skyline just isn't popping against your sky..its oclours are nice, but not strong enough to really force the image to fly out at us. :) |
