I think you should have taken some artistic exception and used PS to eliminate the houses on this photo. I would deffinitly re-visit this site and take other pictures with the sun a little higher - and PS the houses out on that picture. Just to make a better picture. The colors are fantastic, the rock formations wonderful, and the haze background very inspiring. Rated 6.

Yes, a classic waterfal/rocks texture picture, but also rather boring IMHO. It looks so static despite the flowing water. I think it is taken too much head on, straight from the front, and the leading lines could be stronger. The flow of water is to the left out of the picture, you really want it to flow out of the front. I would have tried to get a bit closer, just before where those three stones are piled up. And then get closer to the ground. Or even get a bit into the water, still leaving the ground visible on the right of the picture. This might create a more dynamic feeling to it.

Sour grapes indeed. It really does need to be cropped closer to the falls if you want a better score. Talk about looking like a snapshot.

you deserve top 10.
Forget the people who say a tighter crop... if you do that you wouldn't see the rock... thats what makes this picture apealing to me, contrast and the stark transition from rock to running water to rock...

I guess this is why we should always have cameras at the ready! Neat shot, and I can see how it would cause chaos.
