Wire balloonby jmespigaComment by quiche: Composition is okay. Work on your focus, and try using shallower DOF to blur the background elements that distract from the subject. Probably a lot of people will say this photo because it doesn't meet the challenge. Not too many people will agree that this is a "balloon." |

Bedroom in the morningby jmespigaComment by Purple_Girl: I'm not strongly getting the essence of family from this; maybe a little, in the sense that every family with a kid probably has a room similarly full of toys and a messy bed. If that was your intent, I think a landscape crop would have been better, to get a wider view of the child's room. |

Bedroom in the morningby jmespigaComment by Giles: sorry just does nothing for me, doesnt draw me in to find a hiding child or some detail, its just meh a snap shot of an unmade bed and yeah tracy emin won teh turned price with an unmade bed but this isnt modern art or the tate gallery! its washed out by the light on the left, dark in the details on the right. |
