Still life made up from foodby jmespigaComment by willem: Too much going on IMO. The fruit, the ham, the wood, the knife, sausage, the chairs against the harsh white wall. I think if you would have taken the elements currently in the right half of the image and made a more atmospheric still life out of that, it could have worked. |

Scaffold in fron of Roman monumentby jmespigaComment by ThingFish: A bit of a weak example of what an anachronism is. If you had shown the Roman monument with perhaps a modern city as backdrop it would have been more effective. This is what I would call a shoehorn. Not voting. |
