This is a nicely composed photo... I like it! The lighting is just a *tad* harsh... the label on the Skyy bottle is a little hard to distinguish... good job!

your camera metered for the brightness of the scene, therefore rendering the objects of interest overly dark.

Explanation: The background was out of my control. This "paperboy" was placed in front of a bookstore, and management would not allow it to be moved. The confusion between his legs is a tree, I believe, and I believe the lower right hand corner is the sky.

I really like this shot. Everything works. From "the ground up" perspective makes the object bigger than life. The message board lets us know what the object is. The cutout is very interesting. The muted wall is just right. Even the reflection in the window adds to the effect
