3 Jacksby MusicmanComment by Sonifo: Cool idea and meets the challenge. It seems like the jacks are out of focus. Not as clear as I would like it. Good luck. |

Dine -Inby MusicmanComment by KarenB: I think this would have had more impact completely desaturated. The lonely look on this person's face does more for me than drawing my attention away to a partially colorized shirt. |

3 Jacksby MusicmanComment by eloise: Lovely shot; if the focus were crisper, probably a 10 from me. As is, even so, 9. |

Dine -Inby MusicmanComment by marco: This shot is full of contradictions, I love it!! You sure know your way with symbolism. The shot itself: composition is very strong; it completely breathes out the atmosphere of the topic. Afew elements are a bit distracting though. e.g. the reflection in the window. A tad more contrast an a bit more focus would also have served the image well imho. Overall a very good shot! Regards, Marco |

Dine -Inby MusicmanComment by alanfreed: An interesting subject, and interesting experiment with desaturation. I'm not sure this was the best use of the color desaturation method, to be honest. I would probably try to use that technique to highlight the subject of a shot, but I'm not sure that the guy's shirt (or whatever it is he is wearing) is really the "subject" here that you want to highlight. But it's definitely interesting to experiement with this kind of thing. - 6 |
