The traditional peek a boo shot that I expected to see, but the light and color came together quite well on this. The kids face being in shadows a bit is my only minor quibble.

This photo is proof of the difficulties of taking outdoor photographs in the mid-day sun. The bright section of the trunk overpowers the softness of the child (beautiful capture of the soft skin tone, btw) and also contrasts with the sudden jump to shade on the right side.

Pine Tree and Full Moon

Wow - how come your planet is so much closer to the moon than mine??! I can see why this got asked for validation just because it's such a 'wow' shot. The composition is great but there's a couple of things that I think could improve this shot...the lighting on the tree is just a bit too strong...feels like a softer light would have been less harsh...the other thing is that the moon could be just a tad more contrasty. Two relatively nitpicky points but I think with a re-edit this could really be a jawdropper of a photo. Well done!
