Not Needle Pointby griz210Comment by WriteHeart: It kinda looks out of focus so it's pretty hard. At first I was thinking leather lacing, but they look like separate circles, then I thought chain mail, but I thought those were rounder. They look like hollow magnets threaded onto pick up sticks. I can't seem to figure it out. |

Scars of Lifeby griz210Comment by JerseyGenie: Originally posted by TooCool: I love these kind of candid portraits. Too bad for the wrist band. Take that away and this would be a awesome shot (it's still a great shot) but what can ya do...

To the contrary, I think the armband really real life details to this shot. Love the texture of the skin, the scar, the hair, the wrinkles ... fantastic. |

Not Needle Pointby griz210Comment by boyd2000: Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen these! These look like memory cores from before RAM days, and back in the day I used to troubleshoot the boards these memory stacks were on. But I thought memory cores had to have a diagonal sense line running through them, so maybe I'm mistaken. Nice pattern. |
