I think you have something really good here. Your model did a good job posing for you. I like the shadow light effect but I think that maybe your image is too strong. I would like to see this with a bit of blur to give that dreamy feel. Also might try lowering the contrast some to smooth it out also.

I think I am going to try this shot as well.

Light isn't great. Exposure a little high. I don't like that the wrist and watch has been chopped in half. The expression doesn't really pull me in to this photo. Background doesn't work well. There's some text here both on his hat and around the wrist, but you can't tell what it is.
