the shadow totally helps out with the fact that most of the cat is out of the shot... and that makes it a good idea... good use of the desaturation technique... but the cat itself needs sharper focus

One of my top fav fotos for this week. The panaramic format and unusual composition combining derriere and shadow work very in this dynamic image. Although the feeding bowl is a very minor drawback it is a fact of the situation. The fuzzy bamboo backdrop is a complimentary texture. The stance of the animal shadow demonstrates sleek muscular power. I admire how you balanced the touch of color with the interplay of B&W. Gorgeous!

this is a provocative shot! I really like the use of the shadow to pull my eye direction to the exiting yellow. Also, I like how the spots mirror the pattern on the fence. Wonderful work! I would call this art!
