Almost Goneby JPRComment by DougPaz: Great shot, it deserved a ribbon IMHO. I find myself coming back to it as I like it so much. It has been added to my favorites and is simply awesome. Sometimes breaking the "rules" makes for a really super shot. Way to go, keep it up! |

Almost Goneby JPRComment by dsidwell: Fascinating image. I love the implied pattern that keeps my eye moving around the photo. I don't mind the bamboo being out of focus, but I wish the cheetah were a bit sharper. Very well composed! |

Almost Goneby JPRComment by Kavey: I love this (and it's not just because I'm desperate to go back on safari). It puts into mind the safari pictures of old - and also reminds me of a magazine advert in style. I like the way we only see the back of the cheetah but see the shape of the rest of him in his silhouette.
Lighting is just a touch harsh on his legs and the bowl behind his back feet distracts from the legs/ feet.
Overall a great shot (and well cropped).
