Pretty shot. The DOF and greenish background really accents spots and flecks of color in the gull. Great angle of the wings. I like the position of the gull in front of the bridge rather than in the open sky.

i like the colour change i really think it enhances the picture though id possibly put your subject just a tad further to the right for the added impact, the eyes are really a gr8 focal point!!!
also possibly look at cropping the top of the photo so that about a third of the hair is cut out that way the reflections on the bubble wrap dont interfere and provides even more focus to the eyes! but gr8 photo deffinitely one that brought a laugh

What ISN'T great about it?? This must be a ribbon winner, must be!
Love the soft tones, the bridge on the background is beautifully picked, if it was only the sky, I wouldn't have find it this nice..the bird is nicely caught here, all details are visible and there are absolutely no motion marks, good placement (on the end of the bridge and slightly off centre)...great job!!! This will do great in DCPrints too I guess..--> 10!!!

I REALLY like this picture. The way the bird stands out so vividly against the pale background makes it look so interesting. Great colors. One of my favorites in this challenge.
