This has a great creepiness to it. I don't know if what I'm about to suggest helps you in the way this pic "bothers" you, but it seems to me that if you crop it, about halfway across the tree to the right of the "ghost", that would make the road a leading line that takes the eye slightly up across the frame and ends on the "ghost" - which might give it more impact.

Great. I'm getting a 300D from a friend. Will you give me tutorials? This is really good. It has a clandestine feel or maybe he's running in a sandstorm. LOL I like that it's mostly mid and light tones. That blur of the branch to the left kind of grounds it - otherwise, he'd be kind of floating on air.

Funny, cause if this wasn't a "blur challenge," I'd just look at the shot but the minute it pops up, I'm searching for something blurred. LOL You certainly delivered with your ghostly runner. With the somber tones, it does have a kind of eerie feel to it.
