I can see this gaining a blue, wonderful colour saturation, composition and impact. So that puts mine out of the running for first. However, this would be a well deserved winner.

Very dramatic composition - the burst of the clouds, the red rock creating a line along the thirds line. The saturation is a bit too much for me - but the challenge does call for it after all. Very nice.

I like the sky, but the rocks feel overdone. Part of what makes the work of Joey, heida and the other Photoshop masters around here so impressive is that they know when to stop. The tree that snuck into the right side of the image is a bit distracting. Cloning or cropping it out would have improved the composition.
