I looked at all your astonishing January 15th uploads, to select a favourite for comment. It's this one. One reason I chose it is that it has 7 comments before mine, and every one is from a photographer I admire, although for different reasons. What's interesting to me is that 6 of 7 commented on what you were doing in this image, and not on what you were saying ... the process, rather than the meaning.
I liked the process, too, but I loved the meaning most. This is all about mortality. And not just the obvious chair - also the tires (discarded at various stages of their potential lifespan), the aged planks of the floor, and especially the unidirectional shaft of white light; they're all deeply suggestive of mortality. This photograph recalled my late father for me.
