This is a tough scene to photograph. The lighting conditions make it brutal. I really like the shot, except that there is no attention drawn to the carriage. I know the challenge is "hidden treasures", but the darkened carriage doesn't quite work for me. I don't know of any way to remedy this with the natural lighting conditions without blowing out the highlights, but it still leaves me unsatisfied. Would you love to be able to give this an hdr treatment for this challenge? 5

Love the expression on the woman's face - wish the rifle was turned the other way so it didn't look so much like a stick. Makes one wonder what the future is in this story.
