Thank you femalevsnature! It was pretty simple for the most part. I made two layers - one in color and one in black and white, with the black and white layer on top. I put the brush on "clear" and erased away eye from the black and white layer to revealt he colored iris underneath. The rest was some adjustments with the selective colors (specifically the cyan, blue, and the neutral levels,) and some contrast adjustments. For some added glow, I set the dodge to highlights and touch-up just the bottom of the iris.

this is a wonderful photo. looks alot like the one in toys with the feet and cards. hmm same photographer? if so you are getting a nice series put together. giving it a 10 but would love for the upper left to be a little lighter. imo.
