Pool Towel on Teak Chairby DennisFComment by Gordon: well, the colours meet the challenge, and the DoF makes for an interesting image. Could be a brochure shot. The light is a bit flat/ boring though - maybe a different time of day could have helped this. Also the small piece of grass in the background breaks things up in an annoying way. |

Wild Flowerby DennisFComment by pncowley: I LOVE the deeply saturated purple of the flower itself! Shallow DOF really fits well here, and the border accentuates the shot nicely. In my opinion, the center of the flower is a bit overexposed, and there seems to be some odd noise along the top edge of the petals that I find somewhat distracting. --6 |
