I know exactly where in Arizona this was taken! If this were my photo I might play with saturation and contrast a bit to make th colors pop a little more.

loooks like a really gorgeous place!! i like the color pallette... the light greys, greens, and tans make a nice combo! i like that you went for a non-centered composition... the angle you have the camera at with more rock is pretty cool! did u go out here to shoot for the land (not sea) challenge?

Now for straight from the camera I actually quite like this!! I like the inclusion of a little yellow in the foreground and you have done well to capture a sense of scale here! I think the colours could do with a boost as it looks to have been an overcast day? But, maybe you've edited this since? :o)

The focus and DOF for this image are spot on. Since we all have our own personal preferences, the following are things that I would have changed to meet mine.

I think I would have cropped the image differently so as to either include all of the four clusters of balls or focus specifically on one or two of them. As things stand right now, three of the four groupings are partially cut off and there is no true sense of balance to the image.

The lighting is quite good, but there is a large shadow in the center of the image, perhaps caused by the photographer casting a shadow on the subject matter. The shadow is not inherently bad however, as it does darken the metal rings, thereby drawing one's attention to the primary subject matter.

All this to say... "I like it"
