This looks like Vincent Van Gogh got out on the highway and made a night of it.

Great colors and interesting waves of light. In a post-modern home with minimalist furnishings, this would make a great piece of art, blown up as big as you could make it and hung on a wall without any additional frame.

My first reaction was "fantastic lighting effect". Then I tried to figure out what I was looking at, but came up empty. It is a really neat abstract and very colorful. I could see this blown up on canvas, framed and hanging on a wall. I also think it would be a good photo to use in a mixed media context - perhaps printing it on canvas and then painting over portions of it to get a combination of photo and oils. Since you apparently are a painter, this might be an interesting marriage of two art forms for you.
