This is very nice. What grabbed my eye in the thumbnail was the splash of yellow in the center, and then in the larger version the curves, with how they all are interacting with the center.

I have to admit to not being a big fan of flower photographs in general, the ones that I do like are the ones that tend to take me to another world/abstract/graphical in nature. As such these tend to be sharp, almost technical in nature ( can those two words go together? ) with very bold, almost block like colours. This one though does have a nice feel to it, although personally I would prefer greater sharpness and contrast.

I like the close up. I wouldn't have guessed it was a Tulip. It is very delicate and has a more complicated structure than I am accustomed to seeing in Tulips. Also it's White! A very pretty flower,. Thx for sharing it.
